An article from last year's Holiday Review, Pathology in the Hundred Acre Wood: a neurodevelopmental perspective on A.A. Milne (CMAJ 2000; 163 [12]:1557-9), won a gold prize in the Canadian Business Press' Kenneth R. Wilson Memorial Awards (www.cbp.ca). The award is accompanied by a $1000 cheque.
The article, by Drs. Sarah Shea, Kevin Gordon, Ann Hawkins, Janet Kawchuk and Donna Smith of Dalhousie University, made headlines around the globe after its publication last December. It won the award for excellence in the “One-of-a-Kind” article category. The prizes were presented in Toronto June 6, 2001.
