  1. Eileen Macdonald

After his national service in the Royal Army Medical Corps in Malaya, William Macdonald (“Bill”) settled into partnership in 1966 in Glenrothes, where he remained until his retirement in 1996. He enjoyed a spell on the local medical and veterinary committee. He liked hill walking and was proud to have notched up 56 munros. He kept his mind active by doing crosswords. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen, in 1994 so did not retire to Speyside as was planned. He leaves a daughter, Eileen.
