Diagnosis of deep venous thrombosis in pregnancy: a new role for diagnostic ultrasound

Abstract

Ultrasound has recently become accepted as an accurate imaging technique in the diagnosis of deep vein thrombosis. Real-time and duplex ultrasound findings in six pregnant women with clinically suspected deep venous thrombosis are described.
