Abstract

Canadians are taking better care of themselves today than they did just a few years ago. They are smoking less, drinking less, and exercising more. Yet at the same time, the picture is not entirely positive. While overall smoking rates have declined, this is not the case among women, particularly those in younger age groups. Also, despite increased physical activity, the percentage of people who are overweight has increased.
