    Citation Excerpt :

The volume of SE activity is not a guarantee of quality, since high volume SE labs can show a limited accuracy of reading [7]. The main source of variability is in the eye of the reader, but this eye can be educated with a reasonably mild educational effort as repeatedly shown in the past [10,11]. After taking the web-module, the quality of reading increases and the variability deflates, with a satisfactory harmonization of results, as already shown for other less demanding aspects of echocardiographic diagnosis such as B-lines [12].
