Cardiac deceleration capacity as an indicator for cardioneuroablation in patients with refractory vasovagal syncope
2022, Heart RhythmCitation Excerpt :For instance, when a patient with mixed type VVS underwent HUT, cardioinhibition might not be adequately induced owing to low reproducibility, and the patient might be misclassified into vasodepressive type. Several studies have reported that discordant hemodynamic responses has been observed between sequential HUT,27,28 which also strengthen the possibility of this speculation. Additionally, previous studies proposed that DC reflects the cardiac parasympathetic tension,19,20 and this also implied that vasodepressive type with relatively high levels of DC might actually be mixed type.
