AB  - While controversy about the role of private clinics in Canada's health care system continues, a Vancouver physician has been running a private medicine centre for overseas travellers since 1991, and its popularity has been growing. For a $25 fee, the clinic provides vaccinations and disease-prevention information. More than 8000 patients used the service in 1994.
