Thorne YR 1996 UL http://www.cmaj.ca/content/154/1/77.abstract AB Most Canadian universities offer on-campus health services for their students. Ten years ago minor health problems such as infections, cuts and bruises were the common causes of visits to student health centres, but today medical staff report that students are seeking help for more serious problems such as sexually transmitted diseases, stress, sports injuries, eating disorders and asthma and allergies. Many are also seeking psychiatric counselling.
