His daughter Nancy said: “He often traveled by dog sled to deliver babies and care for others in the logging community. So many life lessons were delivered and in a funny way.”

Died Sept. 8, 2003, aged 88; survived by her husband, Dr. Guy, and 3 sons. “She was among the first female family doctors in the Canadian prairies. She and her husband were part of the small group of doctors who publicly supported medicare and continued to practise throughout the doctors' strike.”
