I find it curious that CMAJ published this article in June 2021 edition and yet, in the same issue, "Should Canada's approach to COVID-19 and kids change with new variants?", there is no mention of the name of "Canadan's chief medical officer". Is the article referring to Dr. Theresa Tam and was there a reason that her name was not mentioned? The names of the other two male physicians was certainly mentioned. I do not want to assume bias, but found the omission of the name rather odd. Thanks for your clarification Ms. Duong (apologies for assuming your gender) and I should hate to assume wrongly that this is contributing to the invisibility of women in medicine.
