I thank Daeschler and colleagues for looking into the important subject of whether N95 respirators can be disinfected and reused.1 The authors don’t mention any application to the domestic scene. I have a few N95 masks left over from the last time the air quality here in British Columbia necessitated wearing one. After use now for prevention of coronavirus disease 2019, can I reuse these masks by putting them in the kitchen oven at 70 C° for an hour and at ambient humidity?
