I also have beau lines on the nais of both big toes, measurong 11.5 mm today. In the week of 22-29 June I suffered a severe reaction to multiple horsefly bites and by the the 26th could not complete a 5 mile hike due to extrme breathlessness. I put it down to side effects of antihistamine medication but now wonder whether it might have been Covid. I had diarrhea on the 29th but only for one night. I diid not get tested at the time.

I was covid positive a few months back. I had two days of night sweats, fever, severe body aches in my neck, back, and fatigue. Maybe a month ago I noticed these lines in each of my big toes. I definitely never had them before and the distance they sit now correlates to the time I had covid.

    Competing Interests: None declared.

I noticed a Beau line running across my left thumb nail during the first week of August 2020. I could not remember injuring my thumb in the preceding weeks so didn’t think too much about it at the time. On Aug 26, 2020, I went for a Covid-19 test because I needed a negative Covid-19 test to visit my mother-in-law in a Long Term Care home. My test came back positive and I was surprised because I had never experienced any symptoms. Because I had no symptoms, I had a second test on Aug 29, 2020 and it too was also positive. Later I wondered if there could be a correlation to Covid-19 but I couldn’t find any references on a Google search. I did take 3 pictures of it on Sept 2, 2020. I have just recently completed 14 days of self isolation with no symptoms. In addition, my wife and all of the personal contacts I had from before Aug 1, 2020 and up to the time that I had the positive test result, have all tested negative.

    Competing Interests: None declared.
