Joy in medical practice is a way of enjoying your professional service with giving greater care to the patient. It motivates the doctor to do more and finds ways to make the patient experience therapy with a smile. It breaks down monotony and saves one from burn out. Every one has to find a way to bring joy to the profession they practice. We have known that dancing and singing while seeing a patient or visiting a patient or during daily rounds have made the patients happy and the therapy more efficient. Music is one of the ways that has been adopted to lessen stress in the patient and "has charms to soothe the savage breast." It also helps us to heal. In a high-tech medicare such joyful interactions will revive human touch as well as human connection with the patient.
