Donor conception and children’s rights: “First, do no harm”

Studies of the incidence of non-paternity suggest that this is not a rare phenomenon with rates of 0.8 - 30% (median 3.7%) quoted. this translates to millions of individuals with a genetic father different from the person they call dad. most, due to their mother's self-serving silence, know nothing of it. Do these individuals suffer harm? If not, perhaps it is the silence that is key.
