i congratulate paul for highlighting one of my pet peeves, people who are late!
one of the rudest thing you can do to people is make them waste their valuable time, so when work is to be done at a certain time and only some of the people are there, i think the others have been abused.
as a rule, i am always on time and if i am not i phone ahead to tell the others who are waiting for me that i am late and...

i congratulate paul for highlighting one of my pet peeves, people who are late!
one of the rudest thing you can do to people is make them waste their valuable time, so when work is to be done at a certain time and only some of the people are there, i think the others have been abused.
as a rule, i am always on time and if i am not i phone ahead to tell the others who are waiting for me that i am late and when i will be there. ( my wife fo course will dispute this!)
but part of the problem is that people allow others to get away with this behaviour. one year, on the day the clock changed in april, i was exaclty one hour late for every meeting of the day ( i had forgotten to adjust my watch), and didn't figure it out till the end of the day because NO ONE pointed it out to me!!!! ( my wife did)
so let's empower those who have to wait to give feedback ( i guess i can't use the word i really want to on this site) to those who make them wait.
