The efficacy of stethoscope placement when not in use: traditional versus “cool”

I hate the "Traditional" position. It drops into your soup, and when you get up from the table, the bell catches under the table and pulls you back down.

The "cool" position is fine in an ER where you use it a lot and frequently so it is handy. You may be gowned so there are no side pockets.

But for everyday use, the pocket is the best for ward rounds, clinics etc.
