Copyright for all material is held by the Canadian Medical Association or its licensors. In compliance with Canadian copyright law, you may view, reproduce or store copies of the articles in the journal provided that the copies are for private study, research, criticism or review.

Attribution

Any uses or copies of CMAJ in whole or in part must include a bibliographic citation, including author(s), article title, journal name, year, volume and page numbers, and the URL www.cmaj.ca, and MUST include the copyright notice that appears with each article.
