AB Both visiting consulting services and resident general practice services to the Churchill Health Centre in northern Manitoba are provided by the University of Manitoba through its northern medical unit. The roles of the university's department of obstetrics and gynecology with regard to visiting consulting services include patient care, education and medical audit. This paper reviews the several aspects of this involvement over the period 1971 through 1977.
