Died Dec. 31, 2005, aged 93. **Chipperfield,** Wesley Gordon, Calgary; University of Manitoba, 1952, general surgery. Died Jan. 1, 2006, aged 84; survived by his wife, Agnes, daughter Debbie and son-in-law Les; predeceased by his cherished son, Randy (1985). “He enjoyed the Calgary Stampeders football games, hockey and beekeeping, and loved his dogs Sam, Spritey and Maggie.” **Clarke,** David Alfred, Kelowna, BC; University of Western Ontario, 1950, public health. Died Feb. 18, 2006, aged 86. **Dale,** George Gordon, Niagara-on-the-Lake; University of Toronto, 1954, orthopedic surgery. Died Feb. 15, 2006, aged 74; survived by his wife, Helen (Mackie). “Dear, proud father of Catherine, Jim (his wife, Lisa), Peter, and Nancy of Toronto. His three little grandchildren Spencer, Jayson and Jenna loved their Papa Gordon. Retiring in 2001, Gordon and Helen moved to Niagara-on-the-Lake where they enjoyed their new home, garden and the beauty of the Niagara area.” **Girouard,** Joseph Edgar, Shediac, NB; Université Laval, 1951, general surgery. Died Feb. 12, 2006, aged 82; survived by his second wife, Monique, his daughters Hélène and Louise and his sons Pierre (dental surgeon), Marc (general practitioner), Allain (orthopedic surgeon) and François (veterinary surgeon). “Dr. Girouard was a member of the Royal Canadian College of Surgeons and the International College of Surgeons. He was a family doctor and general surgeon at the Hôtel-Dieu Hospital and Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital for 33 years, from 1954 to 1987. He also performed surgery at the Moncton Hospital, was coroner for Westmorland county and was a past president of the Hôtel-Dieu Hospital Medical Council and the Moncton Medical Society.” **Gonzalez,** Victor, Madrid, Spain; Universidad de Valladolid, 1954. Died Feb. 17, 2006, aged 74. “He was best known for the pivotal role he played in transferring mental health services to island communities in the 1960s, bringing them out of the large institutional setting. He was a quiet, unassuming man who was well regarded by his patients, staff and colleagues.” **Macinnes,** Angus, Medicine Hat, Alta.; University of Aberdeen, Scotland, 1951, family medicine. Died Jan. 15, 2006, aged 81. **O'Neill,** Anna B., Bridgewater, NS; Universitaet Innsruck, 1953. Died Feb. 7, 2006, aged 81; survived by her husband, Robert “Bob,” son Scott, daughter Dr. Carmen O'Neill (Dr. Everett Weagle), granddaughters Kirsten and Rachael. “She was a staff member of South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, throughout her career and served on the Medical Society of Nova Scotia. She enjoyed classical music, gardening, the outdoors and playing the violin and piano. Most of all she had a passion for living.” **Rheault,** Michel, Sillery, Que.; Université Laval, 1970. Died Jan. 5, 2006, aged 60. **Spinner,** Nahum, Hamilton, Ont.; McGill University, 1963, psychiatry. Died Feb. 20, 2006, aged 69. Beloved husband of Miriam Spinner, dear father of Joshua, Benjamin, Ruth, Sarah and Samuel Spinner, brother of Ervin Spinner. **Steinhardt,** Marvin Irwin, Toronto; Universitat Bern, Switzerland, 1955, diagnostic radiology. Died Feb. 17, 2006, aged 77. **Takrani,** Lal Bikhchand, Mississauga, Ont.; University of Bombay, India, 1963, psychiatry. Died Feb. 6, 2006, aged 70. **Tindall,** John Blair, London, Ont.; University of Western Ontario, 1938. Died Dec. 30, 2005, aged 92; survived by his wife, Beulah, a retired nurse, who he married in 1941. “Dr. Tindall is credited as being the man who delivered ‚a good half' of the current lifelong residents of Huron Township. He served in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps in WWII.”
