Died Jan. 12, 2003, aged 49; survived by his wife, Chris, 1 daughter and 2 stepchildren. “He spent most of his professional career serving the inner-city population of [north] Hamilton.”

Ian Cohen commented: “He spent the war in England with the RCAF, and returned there in 1949 for his diploma in ophthalmic medicine and surgery. He retired from surgery in 1975, but saw patients for 10 more years.”
