Dear editor, Having gone through this case report reminds us hundreds and thousands of cases who get blunt head tauma more severe than the taser shot, but only few develop generalised tonic clonic seizures(1).Why some patients like the case mentioned have a lower threshold for seizures is not touched by the author.Etiopathogenesis of seizures is well described in literature as is the trigger activity of a susceptible focus. Was this the the explanation for the case mentioned and we are carried with the hypothesis of electroconvulsive therapy and count joules of energy. Seizures are precipitated by light, noise, sleep deprivation in subjects prone to seizures(2,3).So should we consider the tsaer shot as the causitve or precipitant needs further explanation.
