In the article by Jaime Caro and colleagues on anticoagulationfor patients with atrial fibrillation,1 it was stated in theintroduction that "warfarin is being prescribed for only abouttwo-thirds of patients with atrial fibrillation." In fact, the5 articles that the authors cited to support that estimate reportrates that vary between .32% and 40%. The authors regret thisinadvertent misrepresentation of the reported rates.
